The 1st annual North Alabama Yarn Crawl ended last Saturday and we had an amazing turnout. Thanks to everyone who came out. We are currently waiting for completed passports to arrive from participating shops so we may draw for the grand prize winner. A video will be posted as the winning passport is being chosen so everyone can join in the excitement of the drawing.
A big thanks to all of the participating shops. We hope to add more shops for next year's crawl.

What is a yarn crawl and how does it work?
The North Alabama Yarn Crawl 2015 is happening Sunday, November 8th through Saturday, November 14th. Please join us for a self-guided tour of the yarn shops in North Alabama!
For those who are participating in a yarn crawl for the first time, here’s what it is all about. Our fabulous local yarn shops in the North Alabama area will be showcasing yarn, hosting special guests, featuring trunk shows and demonstrations. Many special sales, raffles and giveaways will also be offered. This is a wonderful way to discover some different shops in your area, or revisit your favorites. You choose – visit all the shops, a few of the shops, or just one. A yarn crawl is also a super way to mingle with other fiber fanatics and find out what they are excited about!
If you get your passport stamped at every location, you will then be entered into a grand prize drawing, a huge gift basket containing special yarns from every participating yarn shop! Just drop your passport off at the last location you visit to be entered!
Passports ($5/person) will be available for sale at every participating yarn shop.
Check our Facebook event page for updates and more details!
